Could this be "something"?
In his new book A universe from nothing: Why there is something rather than nothing, the theoretical physicist Lawrence M. Krauss tackles one of the great heavyweight questions of philosophy by aiming to make it a scientific one instead.
Although David Letterman's recurring "Is this anything?" segment is an often entertainingly absurd approach to the subject, I'm enthused to see a fresh attack with someone like Krauss using the latest scientific research as ammunition. With an afterword by the great Richard Dawkins, my intrigue surely does not decline, pushing this book up towards the top of my reading list.
Check out the video above for an introduction to the book by Lawrence M. Krauss himself.
